High Court Upholds Employer’s Right to Indemnity for Fatal Injury Compensation
The High Court ruled in favour of an employer who sought to be reimbursed by a third party for compensation paid due to a fatal workplace injury. Despite the fact that a person's a person missed the deadline to sue the third party, the court found that the employer could still claim indemnity under the Workmen’s Compensation Act Ordinance.
