Section 201 — Administrative Review Tribunal Act 2024: Code of conduct

(1) The President must, in writing, determine a code of conduct for non-judicial members. Note: A serious breach of the code of conduct may lead to termination of a non-judicial member’s appointment (see section 221). (2) Without limiting subsection (1), the code of conduct must make provision for the taking of action by the President or a jurisdictional area leader in relation to non-judicial members upholding the code of conduct. (3) Subsection (1) does not limit section 36 (President may make practice directions). (4) The President must publish the code of conduct. (5) The code of conduct is not a legislative instrument.
