Section 248 — Administrative Review Tribunal Act 2024: Application of finance law

(1) For the purposes of paragraph (a) of the definition of Department of State in section 8 of the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013, the Administrative Review Council is prescribed in relation to the Department. (2) If a Council member is an official of a Commonwealth entity other than the Department, then, for the purposes of the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013, the Council member is not an official of the Department merely because they are a Council member.
