Section 65 — Administrative Review Tribunal Act 2024: Certain parties may seek to withdraw from being a party

General rule (1) The Tribunal may order that a party to a proceeding in the Tribunal ceases to be a party to the proceeding if the party gives written notice to the Tribunal that the party wishes to cease being a party to the proceeding. Exceptions—applicant and decision-maker (2) However, subsection (1) does not apply in relation to the following parties: (a) in any case—the applicant; (b) if the proceeding relates to a decision—the decision-maker. Note: The applicant may withdraw the application (see section 95).
