Section 35M — Australian Human Rights Commission Act 1986: Performance of functions relating to systemic discrimination

The Commission may perform the functions referred to in paragraph 35L(1)(a) when: (a) the Commission is requested to do so by the Minister; or (b) it appears to the Commission to be desirable to do so.
