Section 149F — Bankruptcy Act 1966: Copy of notice of objection to be given to bankrupt

(1) As soon as practicable after a notice of objection is filed by the trustee, the trustee must give a copy of the notice to the bankrupt together with a notice to the effect that the bankrupt may request the Inspector-General to review the decision of the trustee to file the notice of objection. (2) A notice given to the bankrupt under subsection (1) must set out the effect of subsection 149K(3). (3) A contravention of this section does not affect the validity of the objection.
