Section 55D — Child Support (Assessment) Act 1989: Working out child support percentages

(1) Work out each parent’s child support percentage for a child for a day in the child support period using the formula: (2) A parent’s child support percentage for a day in a child support period is taken to be nil if the amount worked out using the formula is negative.
