Section 55F — Child Support (Assessment) Act 1989: Simplified outline

The following is a simplified outline of this Division: • The costs of the children are worked out using the rules in this Division and the Costs of the Children Table in Schedule 1. • The costs of the children are based on the number of children in a child support case and the ages of those children. • The costs of the child are the costs of the children divided by the number of children in the child support case. • The Costs of the Children Table is updated every year to reflect changes to the annualised MTAWE figure.
