Section 151AO — Competition and Consumer Act 2010: Duration of Part A competition notice

(1) A Part A competition notice comes into force: (a) when it is issued; or (b) if the notice specifies a later time—at that later time; and, unless sooner revoked, remains in force until the end of the period specified in the notice. The period must not be longer than 12 months. (2) If a Part A competition notice expires, this Part does not prevent the Commission from issuing a fresh Part A competition notice under section 151AKA that relates to the same matter as the expired notice.
