Section 151AZ — Competition and Consumer Act 2010: Commission may convene conference to discuss application

(1) If the Commission receives an application for an exemption order, the Commission may convene a conference to discuss the application. (2) If the Commission decides to convene a conference, the Commission must give: (a) the applicant (or a representative of the applicant); and (b) any other persons whom the Commission considers interested; a reasonable opportunity to attend and take part in the conference. (3) This Act does not prevent a conference under this section from being combined with a conference under section 90A or 93A if the combined conference relates to the same conduct.
