Section 154L — Competition and Consumer Act 2010: Availability of assistance and use of force in executing a search warrant

In executing a search warrant: (a) the executing officer may obtain such assistance as is necessary and reasonable in the circumstances; and (b) the executing officer, or another inspector who is an officer assisting, may use such force against persons and things as is necessary and reasonable in the circumstances; and (ba) a member of the Australian Federal Police who is an officer assisting may use such force against persons and things as is necessary and reasonable in the circumstances; and (c) a person who is not an inspector, but who is an officer assisting, may use such force against things as is necessary and reasonable in the circumstances.
