Section 277 — Competition and Consumer Act 2010: Representative actions by the regulator

Text of the provision Official document

(1) The regulator may, by application, commence an action under this Part on behalf of one or more persons identified in the application who are entitled under this Part to take the action. (2) The regulator may only make the application if it has obtained the written consent of the person, or each of the persons, on whose behalf the application is being made.
