Section 53ZT — Competition and Consumer Act 2010: Commission may require person to provide information

(1) This section applies if a person is required to keep, to generate or to publish information or a document under a gas market instrument. (2) The Commission may give the person a written notice that requires the person to give the information, or to produce the document, to the Commission within a specified period and in a specified manner. (3) The notice must: (a) name the person to which it is given; and (b) specify: (i) the information or document to which it relates; and (ii) the provisions of the gas market instrument which require the person to keep, to generate or to publish the information or document; and (c) explain the effect of sections 53ZU, 53ZV and 53ZW. (4) The notice may relate to more than one piece of information or more than one document.
