Section 56AMC — Competition and Consumer Act 2010: Meaning of accredited action initiator

A person is an accredited action initiator for a type of CDR action if: (a) the person is an accredited person; and (b) the person’s accreditation authorises the person to initiate that type of CDR action. Note 1: The consumer data rules may include rules about accreditation, including about different levels of accreditation (see subsection 56BH(1)). Note 2: The Register of Accredited Persons may include information about what a person’s level of accreditation authorises the person to do (see section 56CE).
