Section 56BZC — Competition and Consumer Act 2010: No discrimination against CDR action instructions—service provider fails to perform CDR actions when it ordinarily performs actions of that type

A person contravenes this section if: (a) the person is an action service provider for a type of CDR action; and (b) the person is given a valid instruction under the consumer data rules to perform a CDR action of that type; and (c) the person fails to perform the CDR action in accordance with the valid instruction; and (d) having regard to criteria in the consumer data rules, the person would ordinarily perform actions of that type in the course of the person’s business.
