Section 1042F — Corporations Act 2001: Meaning of procure

(1) For the purposes of this Division, but without limiting the meaning that the expression procure has apart from this section, if a person incites, induces, or encourages an act or omission by another person, the first-mentioned person is taken to procure the act or omission by the other person. (2) Subsection (1) does not limit the application in relation to provisions in this Division of: (a) section 6 of the Crimes Act 1914; or (b) section 11.1, 11.2, 11.2A, 11.4 or 11.5 of the Criminal Code.
