Section 1100ZM — Corporations Act 2001: ASIC’s power to request documents

(1) ASIC may require a person who makes, or purports to make, an offer of ESS interests to produce to ASIC such documents, or to give to ASIC such information, as ASIC thinks necessary in order to form an opinion about whether the provisions of this Division have been complied with. (2) The person must provide the information within such reasonable period, and in such form, as are specified by ASIC. (3) An offence based on subsection (2) is an offence of strict liability.
