Section 1222S — Corporations Act 2001: Registration of a sub-fund

Registration of initial sub-funds (1) ASIC may register a sub-fund of a CCIV if: (a) ASIC registers the CCIV; and (b) the proposed name of the sub-fund is specified in the application to register the CCIV. Registration of further sub-funds (2) ASIC may also register a sub-fund of a CCIV if an application to register the sub-fund is lodged under section 1222U. ASIC to give sub-fund an ARFN (3) If ASIC registers a sub-fund, ASIC must give the sub-fund an ARFN. ASIC must keep record of registration (4) ASIC must keep a record of the registration. Subsections 1274(2) and (5) apply to the record as if it were a document lodged with ASIC.
