Section 1299H — Corporations Act 2001: Cancellation at request of registered person

(1) ASIC may cancel a company’s registration as an authorised audit company if the company requests ASIC to cancel the registration. (2) ASIC must take the steps necessary to cancel the registration as soon as practicable after the request is made.
