Section 1338A — Corporations Act 2001: Operation of Division

(1) This Division provides in relation to the jurisdiction of courts in respect of criminal matters arising under the Corporations legislation and so provides to the exclusion of sections 68, 70 and 70A of the Judiciary Act 1903. (2) This Division does not limit the operation of the provisions of the Judiciary Act 1903 other than sections 68, 70 and 70A. (3) Without limiting subsection (2), this Division does not limit the operation of subsection 39(2) of the Judiciary Act 1903 in relation to criminal matters arising under the Corporations legislation or sections 68A to 68D of that Act in relation to proceedings in relation to an offence against the Corporations legislation that are brought before the Federal Court.
