Section 174 — Corporations Act 2001: Agent’s obligations

(1) A person who agrees to maintain a register on behalf of a company or registered scheme for the purposes of this Chapter must: (a) make the register available for inspection under this Chapter; and (b) provide the copies required by this Chapter. (2) An offence based on subsection (1) is an offence of strict liability. Note: For strict liability, see section 6.1 of the Criminal Code.
