Section 541 — Corporations Act 2001: Notification that company is in liquidation

Text of the provision Official document

(1) A company that is being wound up must set out, in every public document, and in every negotiable instrument, of the company, after the name of the company where it first appears, the expression in liquidation. (2) An offence based on subsection (1) is an offence of strict liability. Note: For strict liability, see section 6.1 of the Criminal Code.
