Section 601BR — Corporations Act 2001: First AGM

Text of the provision Official document

(1) Despite subsection 250N(1), a public company registered under this Part must hold its first AGM after registration in the calendar year of its registration. (2) An offence based on subsection (1) is an offence of strict liability. Note: For strict liability, see section 6.1 of the Criminal Code.
