Section 820B — Corporations Act 2001: Other prohibitions on holding out

A person must not hold out: (a) that the person has an Australian CS facility licence; or (b) that the operation of a clearing and settlement facility by the person in this jurisdiction is authorised by an Australian CS facility licence; or (c) that a clearing and settlement facility is exempt from the operation of this Part; or (d) that the person is exempt from the operation of this Part; if that is not the case. Note: Failure to comply with this section is an offence (see subsection 1311(1)).
