Section 900A — Corporations Act 2001: Derivatives and transactions etc. to which this Part applies

(1) Unless an express contrary intention appears, this Part applies, on the basis specified in section 3, to derivatives, derivative transactions, facilities, persons, bodies and other matters located in or otherwise connected with: (a) a referring State; or (b) a Territory; or (c) an external Territory, or another place outside Australia. (2) This section does not, by implication, affect the interpretation of provisions of this Act outside this Part (except to the extent appropriate for any provisions outside this Part apply or relate to matters covered by this Part).
