Section 912F — Corporations Act 2001: Obligation to cite licence number in documents

(1) Whenever a financial services licensee identifies itself in a document of a kind specified in regulations made for the purposes of this subsection, the document must include the licensee’s licence number (see section 913C). Note: Failure to comply with this subsection is an offence (see subsection 1311(1)). (2) An offence based on subsection (1) is an offence of strict liability. Note: For strict liability, see section 6.1 of the Criminal Code.
