Section 913C — Corporations Act 2001: Licence numbers

(1) ASIC must give each Australian financial services licence a unique licence number when it is granted, and must notify the licensee of that number. (2) If: (a) a person is granted an Australian financial services licence; and (b) the person holds an Australian credit licence (within the meaning of the National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009); the licence number that ASIC gives to the Australian financial services licence held by that person must be the same number as the person’s Australian credit licence number (within the meaning of that Act).
