Section 943E — Corporations Act 2001: Situation in which only a Supplementary Financial Services Guide need be given

If: (a) apart from this section, a person (the providing entity) would be required to give another person (the client) a Financial Services Guide (the new FSG); and (b) the client has, because of some previous conduct, already been given a Financial Services Guide (the earlier FSG) containing some, but not all, of the information that the new FSG is required to contain; the provider may, instead of giving the client the new FSG, give the client a Supplementary Financial Services Guide that contains the additional information.
