Section 3UB — Crimes Act 1914: Application of Subdivision

(1) A police officer may exercise the powers under this Subdivision in relation to a person if: (a) the person is in a Commonwealth place (other than a prescribed security zone) and the officer suspects on reasonable grounds that the person might have just committed, might be committing or might be about to commit, a terrorist act; or (b) the person is in a Commonwealth place in a prescribed security zone. (2) This section does not limit the operation of section 3UEA.
