Section 3ZQQ — Crimes Act 1914: Powers conferred on Judges of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 2) in their personal capacity

(1) A power conferred on a Judge of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 2) by section 3ZQO is conferred on the Judge in a personal capacity and not as a court or a member of a court. (2) A Judge of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 2) need not accept the power conferred. (3) A Judge of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 2) exercising a power conferred by section 3ZQO has the same protection and immunity as if he or she were exercising that power as, or as a member of, the court of which the Judge is a member.
