Section 106 — Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999: Simplified outline

The following is a simplified outline of this Division: This Division provides for the Minister to appoint commissions to carry out inquiries in a flexible way into the impacts of actions. Commissioners have powers to call witnesses, obtain documents and inspect places for the purposes of their inquiries. Commissioners must report to the Minister and publish their reports.
