Section 277 — Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999: Adoption of State plans

(1) The Minister must not adopt a plan as a recovery plan or a threat abatement plan under this Subdivision unless: (a) the Minister is satisfied that an appropriate level of consultation has been undertaken in making the plan; and (b) the plan meets the requirements of section 270 or 271, as the case requires. (2) Before adopting a plan, the Minister must obtain and consider advice from the Scientific Committee on the content of the plan.
