Section 395 — Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999: Identity cards

(1) The Minister must issue to each warden (except a member of a police force or an officer of Customs) and to each ranger, an identity card, in a form approved by the Minister, containing a photograph of the person to whom it is issued. (2) If a person stops being a warden or ranger, the person must immediately return his or her identity card to the Minister. (3) A person who contravenes subsection (2) commits an offence punishable on conviction by a fine not exceeding one penalty unit.
