Section 396 — Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999: Appointment of inspectors

(1) The Minister may, in writing, appoint a person to be an inspector. (2) The Minister may make a written determination that a specified person, or a person included in a specified class of persons, does not have such of the powers conferred on an inspector by this Act as are specified in the determination. The determination has effect accordingly. (3) If the Minister makes a determination under subsection (2) about a named individual, the Minister must give the individual a copy of the determination.
