Section 436 — Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999: Offence of making false statements in warrants

A person commits an offence punishable upon conviction by imprisonment for a term not exceeding 2 years if the person: (a) makes a statement in an application for a warrant; and (b) does so knowing the statement is false or misleading in a material particular.
