Section 505A — Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999: Establishment

(1) The Indigenous Advisory Committee is established. (2) The Minister is to determine in writing the composition of the Committee, including the qualifications of its members. (3) A person may only be appointed as a member of the Committee if the person is an Indigenous person. (4) The Minister is to appoint the members of the Committee on a part-time basis. (5) The Minister is to appoint 2 of the members, one male and one female, as co-chairs of the Committee.
