Section 536JY — Fair Work Act 2009: Minimum standards orders

(1) The FWC may make an order (a minimum standards order) that sets standards for: (a) employee-like workers; or (b) regulated road transport contractors. (2) A minimum standards order for employee-like workers is an employee-like worker minimum standards order. (3) A minimum standards order for regulated road transport contractors is a road transport minimum standards order. Note: The FWC must be constituted by an Expert Panel for the purposes of making a road transport minimum standards order (see subsection 617(10B)). (4) The FWC may make a minimum standards order under this section: (a) on its own initiative; or (b) on application under subsection 536JZ(1).
