Section 536KE — Fair Work Act 2009: Finalising draft order

(1) The FWC may make any changes it thinks appropriate to a draft road transport minimum standards order. (2) If changes made under subsection (1) are significant, the FWC must: (a) decide not to make the road transport minimum standards order based on the draft; and (b) publish a subsequent notice of intent under subsection 536KB(1) in relation to the revised draft road transport minimum standards order, and publish the revised draft; and (c) follow the process set out in section 536KC in relation to the revised draft road transport minimum standards order (with the period of consultation under that section to be no shorter than 12 months starting when the subsequent notice of intent and the revised draft required by paragraph (b) of this subsection were published).
