Section 10P — Family Law Act 1975: Immunity of arbitrators

An arbitrator has, in performing his or her functions as an arbitrator, the same protection and immunity as a Judge of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 1) has in performing the functions of a Judge. Note: Communications with arbitrators are not confidential, and may be admissible in court.
