Section 111CY — Family Law Act 1975: Giving information to central authorities and competent authorities in Convention countries

(1) This section applies to: (a) a court; and (b) the Commonwealth central authority; and (c) central authorities of Australia appointed as mentioned in Article 29, paragraph 2, of the Child Protection Convention; and (d) other competent authorities of Australia. (2) If it would be consistent with this Division or the Child Protection Convention to do so, the court or authority may give information to: (a) a court or an authority of Australia to which this section applies; or (b) a central authority or other competent authority of a Convention country.
