Section 122B — Family Law Act 1975: Arrangements with States and Territories

(1) The Governor-General may make an arrangement with the relevant authority of a State or internal Territory for the performance by an officer of the State or Territory of a function under this Act. (2) In this section: officer includes the holder of a judicial office. relevant authority means: (a) in relation to a State—the Governor of the State; or (b) in relation to the Australian Capital Territory—the Chief Minister for the Australian Capital Territory; or (c) in relation to the Northern Territory—the Administrator of the Northern Territory.
