Section 90YJ — Family Law Act 1975: Rules of Court

(1) The power of the judges (within the meaning of the Family Court Act 1997 (WA)), or a majority of them, to make rules regulating the practice and procedure of the Family Court of Western Australia or the Magistrates Court of Western Australia extends to making any rules, not inconsistent with this Part or with any regulations made under this Part, prescribing all matters necessary or convenient to be prescribed for carrying out or giving effect to this Part. (2) This section does not affect any power to make rules under any other law.
