Section 194 — Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia Act 2021: Oaths and affirmations

(1) A Judge may require and administer all necessary oaths and affirmations for the purposes of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 2). (2) A Judge may cause to be administered all necessary oaths and affirmations for the purposes of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 2). For this purpose, the Court may, either orally or in writing, authorise any person (whether in or outside Australia) to administer oaths and affirmations. (3) The Chief Executive Officer may, by written instrument, authorise: (a) a Registrar; or (b) a staff member of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 2); to administer oaths and affirmations for the purposes of the Court.
