Section 205 — Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia Act 2021: Putting documents to a person by video link or audio link

If, in the course of an examination or appearance of a person by video link or audio link in accordance with this Division, it is necessary to put a document to the person, the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 2) or a Judge may direct or allow the document to be put to the person: (a) if the document is physically present in the courtroom or other place where the Court or the Judge is sitting: (i) by causing a copy of the document to be transmitted to the place where the person is located; and (ii) by causing the transmitted copy to be put to the person; or (b) if the document is physically present in the place where the person is located: (i) by causing the document to be put to the person; and (ii) by causing a copy of the document to be transmitted to the courtroom or other place where the Court or the Judge is sitting.
