Section 251 — Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia Act 2021: Powers of Chief Executive Officer

(1) The Chief Executive Officer has the power to do all things necessary or convenient to be done for the purpose of assisting the Chief Judge under section 250. (2) In particular, the Chief Executive Officer may act on behalf of the Chief Judge in relation to the administrative affairs of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 2). (3) The Chief Judge may give the Chief Executive Officer directions relating to the exercise of the Chief Executive Officer’s powers under: (a) this Chapter; or (b) Chapter 5, to the extent that the provisions of that Chapter apply to the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 2).
