Section 89C — Freedom of Information Act 1982: Information Commissioner investigations—ensuring non-disclosure of certain matters

(1) This section applies to the following documents: (a) a notice to a complainant under section 86 (notice on completion); (b) a report to the FOI Minister under subsection 89A(3) (failure to take action). (2) The Information Commissioner must not include in the document: (a) exempt matter; or (b) information of the kind referred to in subsection 25(1). Note: Subsection 25(1) deals with information about the existence or otherwise of certain documents.
