Section 261AKH — Migration Act 1958: Destroying video recordings

Text of the provision Official document

A person commits an offence if: (a) the person is the person who has day-to-day responsibility for the system under which a video recording is stored; and (b) the person fails physically to destroy the recording, and all copies of the recording, within 10 years after it was made. Penalty: Imprisonment for 2 years, or 120 penalty units, or both.
