Section 113 — National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013: Compensation payer’s or insurer’s payment to Agency discharges liability to participant

(1) Payment to the Agency of an amount that a compensation payer is liable to pay under section 111 in relation to a participant operates, to the extent of the payment, as a discharge of: (a) the compensation payer’s liability to pay compensation to the participant; and (b) the participant’s liability to pay the Agency. (2) Payment to the Agency of an amount that an insurer is liable to pay under section 111 in relation to a participant operates, to the extent of the payment, as a discharge of: (a) the insurer’s liability to the compensation payer; and (b) the compensation payer’s liability to pay compensation to the participant; and (c) the participant’s liability to pay the Agency.
