Section 131 — National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013: Leave of absence

Chair (1) The Minister may grant leave of absence to the Chair on the terms and conditions that the Minister determines. (2) Before the Minister grants leave of absence to the Chair under subsection (1), the Minister must consult the host jurisdictions about the grant. Other Board members (3) The Chair may grant leave of absence to another Board member on the terms and conditions that the Chair determines. (4) The Chair must notify the Minister if the Chair grants another Board member leave of absence for a period that exceeds 3 months.
