Section 51 — National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013: Requirement to notify change of circumstances

(1) A participant or a prospective participant must notify the CEO if: (a) an event or change of circumstances happens that affects, or might affect, his or her access request, status as a participant or plan; or (b) the participant or prospective participant becomes aware that such an event or change of circumstances is likely to happen. (2) The participant or prospective participant must notify the CEO: (a) in the manner set out in a written notice given to him or her under section 52; and (b) as soon as reasonably practicable after he or she becomes aware that the event or change of circumstances has happened or is likely to happen.
